Signal Mountain’s students are served by the Hamilton County School District, which operates over 80 campuses throughout the region. Elementary and middle school grades are provided in town at Nolan Elementary, Thrasher Elementary and Signal Mountain Middle School. Red Bank High School is located at the foot of Signal Mountain and there are many choices for private high schools in Chattanooga. A variety of industries provide employment for Signal Mountain residents, including education, health and social services, professional services, finance, insurance and real estate.
